Replacing the legendary 916, the 996 was Ducati’s flagship superbike from 1999-2002. The gorgeous Tamburini-designed aesthetics remained, but upgrades like like larger pistons and valves, a stronger crankshaft, lighter wheels, and better brakes all combined for an improved riding experience.

This example is VIN: ZDM1SB5T4XB000809. The odometer shows 31,150 miles.

Modifications:
Airtech Streamlining bodywork painted to look like Carl Fogarty’s 1994 WSBK racer.

Arrow exhaust. The sale includes the original exhaust.

Custom aluminum coolant tank – the seller notes that he went through three OEM plastic coolant tanks and they all developed small leaks, a common problem with the factory units.

Carbon fiber clutch cover, battery tender lead, PSR crankcase breather.

Carbon fiber heel guards, carbon fiber chain guard, carbon fiber rear hugger.

Carbon fiber ignition switch cover.

Carbon fiber radiator guard. The sale includes a plastic radiator guard.

Tank protector.

Inside of the tank:

In 2019 the bike got new belts, spark plugs, and an air filter. In 2020 it got a new starter solenoid and Michelin Power 5 tires.

The sale includes several spare parts, including the stock exhaust.

It also includes an extra key. Currently located in Swansea, Massachusetts (please make an appointment for an inspection), this Ducati is offered on a clean New Hampshire title.
