Originally introduced back in 1983, the Shadow was Honda’s attempt to create a cruiser specifically for the American market. Over the years, it evolved into an extensive lineup ranging from 125cc to 1,100cc, giving riders of all sizes a taste of a Japanese V-twin.
The V-Twin 1100 was introduced in 1985 and and used Honda’s VT1100 1099cc engine. Minimal mechanical changes happened over the years and in 1998 the VT1100C Aero was rolled out featuring a 2-in-1 exhaust and more retro styling. For more info and a ride review, check out this write up on the Aero.
