Description
Additional photos of these Ducati dealership signs are available here for your perusal.
These two signs come from the service area at Motobella Inc. / Eurosports in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania, and they were acquired by the current owner through an auction in March of this year when the dealership closed up shop.
Sign #1: Ducati Service
19 3/4” tall x 49 1/4” wide x 4” deep
Once the seller acquired this sign, he took it to Signature Sign in West, Reading, Pennsylvania for a mechanical and cosmetic refurbishment.
At Signature Sign, the electrical system was checked. Once that was verified, this sign got new bulbs and a new power cord. As shown in the album up top, while there is some slight discoloration which looks like overspray (and can most likely be fixed by the buyer with some wetsanding if they wish), the overall finish came out glossier than original.
Per the seller, “Also, for some reason they taped over the original UL sticker, but a new one was placed over it so the tape up job appears less noticeable.”
Sign #2: Ducati “Guitar Pick”
30″ tall x 28″ wide x 6″ deep
At Eurosports, this sign was the first thing a customer would see in front of the Ducati new model showcase. It has a standard plug power cord and has LED lighting inside.
Together, these two signs would make for an excellent addition to any man cave or collection. During the March auction, the “guitar pick” sold for $2,225 by itself, and the Ducati Service sign was purchased for $2,500 before the auction started. The owner has an additional $1,100 into the refurbishment of the Ducati Service sign as well. The current reserve on both of these signs together is less the original purchase price of either – we need you to buy them because we’re tempted to put them in our new showroom ourselves!
