One of the first semi-popular supermotos in the US, the KTM Duke II was a revelation for the lucky few that got to enjoy it – the comfortable ergonomics and light weight made this an excellent hooligan bike. Get used to riding with the front wheel off the ground!

KTM’s LC4 engine was good for 50 horsepower and 40 miles per gallon and the Duke II weighed just 320 pounds. For more on the Duke II, check out this review from MCN, which says that the Duke II “the very best of streetmoto – the slightly more refined cousin of that biking outlaw the supermoto. The Duke is rugged, grunty, well-braked and packed with attitude. It’s also a simple bike to fettle yourself and tune. It could be the best commuter ever made.

This example is VIN: VBKDUL402YM730691. The seller acquried the bike from an online auction in June of 2022.

The odometer shows 12,154 miles. However, true mileage is unknown.

Maintenance:
Per the previous listing (as addressed in the comments), the prior owner donated the original engine to be used in a Sound of Singles race bike build. Once the program had concluded, a new engine was fitted into the chassis being offered here today.

In September of 2022, the seller had our service department change the oil and oil filter, replace the fork seals, adjust the valve clearances, tune the carb, and lubricate and adjust the throttle, choke, and compression release cables. Additionally, we replaced the front master cylinder, flushed the brake fluid, changed the brake pads, replaced the coolant, and installed new turn signals.

In preparation for the listing, the seller had us perform a safety inspection. Our service department notes the following in its condition report:
