One of the first semi-popular supermotos in the US, the KTM Duke II was a revelation for the lucky few that got to enjoy it – the comfortable ergonomics and light weight made this an excellent hooligan bike. Get used to riding with the front wheel off the ground!

KTM’s LC4 engine was good for 50 horsepower and 40 miles per gallon and the Duke II weighed just 320 pounds. For more on the Duke II, check out this review from MCN, which says that the Duke II “the very best of streetmoto – the slightly more refined cousin of that biking outlaw the supermoto. The Duke is rugged, grunty, well-braked and packed with attitude. It’s also a simple bike to fettle yourself and tune. It could be the best commuter ever made.”
