Please Note: The VINData report states that there is an open recall (voluntary) on this bike.
When it was introduced in 1999, the BMW R1100S was BMW’s most powerful twin built to date. The Germany company insisted on making it clear that it was not a pure sportbike, but it offered up a lot of BMW’s usual benefits in a much sportier package.

Riders still got to benefit from the reliability and easy maintenance of the boxer twin (which produced 98 horsepower and a hefty 72 foot-pounds of torque) with shaft drive, plus the all-around convenience of optional features like hard bags, ABS, and heated grips.

As MCN put it in a look back on the model, “the BMW R1100S is now starting to be regarded as something of a classic, especially in Boxer Cup form. Classy (and crucially un-ugly) styling, VFR-esque comfort and versatility plus BMW quality and residuals make for a stonking and attractive all-rounder.”

Manufactured in November of 2000, this example is VIN: WB10432A31ZB52086. The seller acquired it from a Ducati/BMW dealership in Colorado in 2008.

During his ownership, the seller has covered approximately 9,000 miles. The odometer shows 9,360 miles.

“I admired this model since its debut in 1999, finally purchased this bike because of low miles, consider it one of the most beautiful sport bikes ever made.”
