Replacing the legendary 916, the 996 was Ducati’s flagship superbike from 1999-2002. The gorgeous Tamburini-designed aesthetics remained, but upgrades like larger pistons and valves, a stronger crankshaft, and better brakes all combined for an improved riding experience.

By 2001, the 996 had been granted lighter 5-spoke Marchesini wheels.

This example is VIN: ZDM1SB5T81B011318. The seller acquired the bike two years ago.

Maintenance:
During his ownership, the seller changed all of the fluids, spark plugs, timing belts, rear brake pads/rotors, and fork seals.

The bodywork is freshly painted and the aftermarket nose cone is color-matched to OEM.”
