Please Note: The seller has provided a start-up video but notes that the bike does not run properly:
For 1999, Honda updated the CBR600F3 to become the F4. Motorcycle.com was a fan: “It has more power, it weighs less, it comes equipped with better brakes and suspension, it’s quicker steering, less buzzy, has wider wheels and provides more feedback. This is not to say that the F3 was not a great motorcycle, it is just that the F4 surpasses the F3 in all measurable categories.”

For the 2002 season, Honda switched things up and decided to only have the factory team race in Superbike – leaving Erion Racing (and Bruce Transportation) to be their representatives in Formula Xtreme and 600cc Supersport. Roger Lee Hayden had his AMA debut in 2001 with Bruce Transportation and moved up to Erion Racing for the 2002 season to be teammates with Mike Hale.

According to the seller, this is one of the bikes that Roger rode in that 2002 season.

The seller states that there is no VIN. The engine number is PC35E-2121230.

The odometer does not show a reading, true mileage is unknown.

The seller bought it as a project two months ago from a private party. “Bought it with plan to make a track bike but decided not to pursue.” A previous owner crashed it at Laguna Seca and let it sit in his front yard for six years.

Maintenance:
“It runs rough/won’t idle. Starts for about 8 seconds then stop. Don’t know why.”
GPR stabilizer, Attack Racing top triple clamp.

The sale includes some spare parts. The rear paddock stand is not included with the sale.

It is riding on Dunlop KR slicks that have aged out.

Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the album in the “Photos” tab for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here is a selection:
“Front tire is cracked. Some scratches here and there.”
