When Ben Bostrom was competing in AMA Superbike with a 998S, he raced with the number 155. So when Ducati decided to sell a limited edition replica, they sold 155 examples in the US, 155 examples in the UK, and another 155 for the rest of the world.

Ben signed every tank himself.

When it comes to limited edition Ducatis, the differences can sometimes just be cosmetic. In this case, the Bostrom rep got you Ohlins suspension, a blue frame, Marchesini wheels, and some carbon fiber pieces.

USA “S” models got 4-pot Brembos, Ohlins steering damper, larger exhaust, and a carbon belly pan.

Manufactured in November of 2001, this example is VIN: ZDM1SB5VX2B015261, Engine #: SB52000623.

It is #90/155.

The seller acquired it less than a year ago from the second owner, a private party in Nebraska. Since then he’s covered 22 miles – the odometer shows 16,287.

Modifications:
Arrow slip-on exhaust.

Carbon fiber key guard.

Carbon fiber chain guard.

Carbon fiber rear fender.

Fast by Ferracci clip-ons.

Underneath the fairings:

The seller states that the only cosmetic blemish is corrosion on the brake fluid cap. He adds that there are no mechanical issues – it “runs perfect and everything works as it should.” He notes that the bike had a valve adjustment and full service at 12k miles.

In March of 2021, the seller had the bike serviced with an oil change, new belts, chain clean/adjustment, and new Continental ContiMotion tires.

He also had the brake and clutch fluids flushed earlier this month.

The sale includes the original tool kit, original exhaust, and color-matched stand.

It also comes with the owner’s manual, World Dealer Guide, service records from 2011 to now, and an OEM Bostrom plaque that the seller had a local shop create a new plate for to match his bike.

Currently located in Islamorada, Florida, this Ducati is offered on a clean Nebraska title. Have any Ben Bostrom stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the comments!
