Description

Additional photos are available here for your perusal.

When Ben Bostrom was competing in WSBK with a 998S, he raced with the number 155. So when Ducati decided to sell a limited edition replica, they sold 155 examples in the US, 155 examples in the UK, and another 155 for the rest of the world.

When it comes to limited edition Ducatis, the differences can sometimes just be cosmetic. In this case, the Bostrom rep got you Öhlins suspension, a blue frame, Marchesini wheels, and some carbon fiber pieces.

Whereas the bikes sold in the US got treated to Ben Bostrom’s signature and a set of carbon fiber side panels, those in the UK and elsewhere around the world (like the one being sold here) did not get those features and instead received a deep sump 996R engine. Shared upgrades for the “S” models in all markets included a set of four-pot Brembos, an Öhlins steering damper, a larger exhaust, and a carbon fiber belly pan.

This example is VIN: ZDMH200AA2B020057. It came to Iconic as an import from Japan.

It is #014/155.

The odometer shows 15,891 kilometers (9,874 miles).

Maintenance:
In preparation for the listing the seller had us replace the chain and chain guides and repair a non working turn signal. We also replaced the coolant, clutch and brake fluid, air filter, belts, and front brake reservoir. Finally we gave the bike a detailing and installed new Pirelli Diablo Rosso tires with date codes of 4422 and 0323.

After a test ride, we found that the clutch was slipping. We replaced the clutch plates and adjusted the clutch lever along with flushing the brakes and installing a new fuel level sensor.

Please note that as an import, this bike lacks certain compliance and emissions stickers that the state of California would require to transfer a title.
