We’ll leave the description up to MV Agusta from its press release at launch: “Following the launch of the SENNA marque, Ayrton [Senna] and Chairman Claudio Castiglioni had an encounter. Recognizing the principles and passions they had in common, the two started up a close collaboration and deep friendship. Today, their partnership, in accordance with the SENNA Foundation, has led to the development of a new motorcycle that preserves the characteristics that made Ayrton the most beloved driver of all times.”
“The MV Agusta staff has designed an evolution of the F4 inspired by the same enthusiasm of its Chairman. An enthusiasm that not only derives from the friendship with the driver, but primarily from the knowledge that the Foundation’s purpose is to assist over 300,000 Brazilian youths by contributing 100% of its proceeds to the development and implementation of social programs.”
“Given the special nature of the project, MV engineers developed the model based on the high performance SPR version…the engine has been improved and made lighter in many of its basic components: amongst the modification to the head, new features have been included to the timing system, intake pipes, and the new combustion chamber. The head/cylinder group now includes ‘MAHLE’ pistons, molded with jets of cooling oil, which enable the limiter’s threshold to reach 13,900 rpm, while the crankshaft has been lightened considerably. Another significant development has concerned the primary drive, now shortened and equipped with a clutch reinforced with a brand new gearbox assembly with closer ratios.”
“The production run was limited to 300. As part of that exclusivity, you got a slew of carbon fiber bodywork pieces, upgraded Marzocchi suspension, and exclusive paint with red wheels. Expected output was 140 horsepower at the crank with the EPROM and optional race only exhaust. As MCN found in its review, “From the badge emblems on the tank and the seat to the race-worthy components, this machine is almost as fun to sit on and look at from the cockpit as it is to ride… almost.”
Manufactured in January 2002 this example is VIN: ZCGAGFLJ22V100473. The seller states “I purchased the bike new from Lyle Lovitt Motorsports, Austin, TX (no longer in business,) over 23 years ago.” This model is #194 of 300.
The odometer shows 515 KM which is 320 miles. The seller has covered all of the 320 miles on the clock. He is selling due to retirement.

Modifications:
The seller states “the only modification the bike has is a new OEM ECU with a ‘Ducati’ sticker as Cagiva owned both houses at the time and the hardware was the same for the P6 ECU. The software is all specifically for the F4 and everything electrical works perfectly.” This service was performed by Tony Foster Ducati in Thousand Oaks CA. (See invoice photo below.)

It is riding on Pirelli Dragon Evo tires with date codes of 1801 and 4801.
The sale includes one key, rear stand, extra OEM mirrors, a stock exhaust system, warranty book, extra sprockets, a bike cover, sales and clothing brochures, OEM tool kit, and an OEM ECU (pictured above.)

Currently located in Panorama City, California, this MV Agusta is offered on a clean California title without registration. The seller has had the bike on display for quite some time and declined to register the bike at the time of title. The new owner can register the bike for street use if desired.
