Sold in the US between 1988 and 2006, the Yamaha Blaster was an incredibly successful quad that enjoyed a large aftermarket due to the easily-modified two-stroke engine, reasonable cost, and overall popularity.
The 195cc motor was rated for approximately 17 horsepower, and it was paired with a six-speed transmission and manual clutch.
The seller of this example (VIN: JY43JM0362C046282, Engine #: 3JM-386263) acquired it in 2004 from his brother, who bought it (and a second Yamaha Blaster 200) for his two daughters “who only rode them a few times.”
His brother needed to sell them to cover payroll. “I bought them and gave them to my two daughters who only took them out a few times as well and out grew them and got into cars! It’s the end of an era for us.”
“They remained garaged their whole life and it’s time to let them go on to the next family. They have never been blown up and abused and have been in my name for many years.”
There is no odometer, so true mileage is unknown.
There are signs of wear throughout, as well as a missing bolt.
Some of the wheels have minor dents.
Before this was listed on our auction site, the seller had us install a new air filter and clean the carb.
Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California (please make an appointment for an inspection) this Yamaha quad is offered on a clean California off-road title with a green sticker.
The seller is letting this go as he’s moving from motorcycles to cars and is selling all of his bikes – if you know someone who’s selling a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, he wants to talk to you!
