After a long series of 916-based superbikes, Ducati dramatically mixed things up styling-wise with the vertically-stacked lights and double-sided swingarm of the 999 in 2003.

The styling was polarizing but the riding experience was not. As Bike Social puts it in their review of the 999: “The 999’s desmo V-twin is simply beautiful and has all the lazy power and torque you would expect from such a bike.”

This example is VIN: ZDM1UB5T23B001090. The seller purchased this example from a collector in New England.

The odometer shows 192 miles. The seller states they have put roughly 20 miles on this example.

Maintenance:
The seller states they have gotten the timing belts serviced, oil changed, and all fluids serviced from a Ducati dealer.

Modifications:
The seller notes this example is stock.

Inside of the tank:

It is riding on the original Michelin Pilot tires with date codes of 3102 and 3102.

The sale includes two keys, original owner’s club book, and the owner’s manual.

Cosmetic Blemishes:
Per the seller, this bike “Had a stationary ‘tip over’ under previous ownership. Had a slightly bent clutch & gear lever but had the dealer replace these. Small scuff on lower left side fairing. Scuff on left side mirror casing. One small scuff on rear tail section. Apart from this the bike is immaculate – represents as a original 192 mile bike would.”
