At the turn of the millennium, the MV Agusta brand was revived with the release of a new flagship. Penned by the great Massimo Tamburini, the F4 boasted a ground-breaking design that redefined the modern superbike. In the years that followed, the F4 underwent a series of revisions and model updates, though the bike’s incredible aesthetics went largely unchanged. Throughout its impressive production run, the F4 was occasionally offered with limited edition upgrade kits (under the Special Parts or SP moniker) that typically consisted of unique bodywork and a few other changes.
Notable examples included the Viper (50 made), the Corse (300 in full kit, 300 as a base kit), and the Mamba (300 of a Basic Kit and 300 of a Full Kit). There was also a “Standard” Mamba package which was not limited in production and featured plastic bodywork designed to emulate the styling of the limited edition Mamba packages. The differences are laid out in this rehosted image, and this featured bike has the incredibly rare Full Option Kit.

MV did not put numbering on the top triple plaque, but the seller believes this is one of just two that were created.
Modifications:
The Mamba kit could be accessorized from the factory so it’s hard to know exactly what’s stock, but this also has BST carbon fiber wheels.
It is riding on the original Pirelli tires with date codes of 2004 and 2104.
