The Ducati ST4s was first revealed in 2001 at the Munich International Motorcycle Show (Intermot) held in Germany. The ST4s was a sport-touring motorcycle powered by a 996cc L-twin engine powerplant, good for roughly 117 horsepower and 75 lb-ft of torque. With a detuned superbike motor based off some of the most iconic superbikes of the time – the 996, 998, and the 999 – the ST4s was a popular choice for those interested more in the ‘sport’ side of sport-touring.
The ST4s was no slouch on the open road however, with approachable ergonomics and a 5.5 gallon tank, the ST4s was set to tackle any adventure thrown at it.
