Additional photos of this 2005 Triumph Daytona 650 are available here for your perusal.
In 2000, Triumph debuted their first ever inline four cylinder sportbike. Built to take on the Japanese, it was called the TT600. That model was followed by the Daytona 600 in 2003, and Triumph quickly bored it out to create the Daytona 650.
The new motor was good for 114 hp and 50 lb-ft of torque – Visor Down appreciated the new offering, saying that “Triumph, finally, has put the finishing touch on it” and “the extra 47cc transforms the Daytona from a good, but underpowered road bike to an excellent road bike that will flatter any rider on a race track.”
The 650 was built for just one year before Triumph replaced it with the three-cylinder Daytona 675. Color options were Tornado Red and Racing Yellow.
This example is VIN: SMT815MD65J221440.
“The bike was uncrated, inspected cosmetically, and sold to where it remained on display until now.”
The bike has zero miles and has never been ridden, however the seller is unable to get power connected for an odometer reading.
Modifications:
This Triumph is completely stock and is on the original Pirelli tires.
Cosmetic Blemishes:

The sale includes the original tool kit and “riding tips.”
