Introduced in 2003, Ducati’s ST3 was an evolution of both the ST2 and the ST4 – it utilized a unique three-valve head (two intake, one exhaust) which helped blend the ST2’s torque and the ST4’s top-end. It resulted in 107 hp and 72 lb-ft of torque. As Bennetts put it, “when you ride an ST3 it feels every bit the lovely lazy V-twin you would hope for in a sports tourer.”

For 2006, Ducati updated the ST with TiN coating on the 43mm Showa USD forks and a Euro-3 compliant emissions system.

That year, the model was available as the ST3 and the ST3s ABS. The latter obviously got anti-lock brakes, but it was also upgraded with an Ohlins shock with ride height adjustment, aluminum swingarm, and lighter 5-spoke Marchesini wheels.

This example is VIN: ZDM1TBBS06B005268.

The seller acquired it three years ago from the original owner, who purchased it from Southern California Motorcycles in Brea, California. He’s covered roughly 2,500 miles himself, and the odometer shows 9,498 miles.
