Built by Roland Sands Design, this Sportster has been turned into what they call the “Racester” – they built it at the request of a client (who happens to be a very dear friend of Iconic) and debuted it back at Born Free 4 in 2012.
RSD has their own page dedicated to this build, which you can find here. Highlights of the work include:
Revolution Performance 1250 kit and Screaming Eagle .536 Cams, which are claimed to make 90 hp/90 lb-ft of torque. The engine also features a DP clutch kit, RSD Velocity Stack, and Nostalgia ignition cover.
The frame, swingarm, and engine covers were powdercoated by Olympic Powdercoating.
Stainless steel custom exhaust based on a Vance & Hines XR unit.
Progressive Suspension shocks.
PM calipers, Race Tech Gold Valves in the forks.
Bodywork that started as the Super Single kit that RSD used to convert MX bikes into road racers, painted by Airtrix.
The seller of this example (VIN: 1HD4CKM316K429846, Engine #: CKM6429846) acquired it four years ago.
He has exclusively kept it on display in his collection and has not ridden the bike. The odometer shows 4,393 miles.
The seller states that there are no cosmetic blemishes or mechanical issues.
Currently located in El Segundo, California, this RSD Harley-Davidson is offered on a clean California title. Have any Sportster stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the comments!
