ICONIC PROJECTS: if you follow us on Instagram (and you should!), you know that we’ve recently partnered up with Kamikaze Motorsports in Glenwood, Iowa. One of the many new services that will be coming from our partnership is a series of project bikes for those of you that like to tinker or are looking for a lower entry price to a bike you’ve always wanted for our White Glove service to fix up on your behalf.

The Kawasaki KLR650 has just about reached legendary status at this point. It has been in production since 1987, it has fans all over the globe and it has carried riders not just across continents, but quite literally around the world! For 20 years the model was virtually unchanged, and this 2006 is a low mile example of the KLR before it had a significant update in 2008.
The KLR650 is the Swiss Army knife of motorcycles, it does not excel at any one purpose as a motorcycle but is very versatile and after years in production has proven to be nearly indestructible as well.
