One of the most visually striking machines to ever come out of Aprilia, the RSV1000R Bol D’Or which was built to commemorate their participation in…the Bol D’Or, a 24 hour endurance race that occurs every spring at Le Mans. Just 200 examples were built in the distinctive purple/red livery.
Changes from the RSV1000R were solely cosmetic, meaning the Bol D’Or came well equipped with Ohlins front forks, a slipper clutch, and Brembo calipers.
You also got the wonderful V60 magnesium v-twin motor, which puts out 143 horsepower at 10,000 rpm.
Manufactured in April of 2007, this example is VIN: ZD4RRTR007S000715. The seller purchased this example three years ago from the second owner.
The odometer shows 4,864 miles. The seller has put roughly 2,200 miles on this example.
Maintenance:
The seller states they serviced the Öhlins shock in 2020, installed new front fork seals and oil two weeks ago, changed the oil in October of 2022, and winterized the motorcycle for storage last riding season.
Modifications:
Carbon fiber front cowl winglets, rear tire hugger, exhaust brackets, air tube covers, and radiator fan shrouds.
Smoked windscreen.
Öhlins rear shock.
Anodized brake and clutch reservoirs with battery and electrical leads.
Not pictured: Pro-Bolt stainless steel bolts.
Per the seller: “by adding Ohlins rear shock and all these carbon pieces the bike specs are now on par with RSV 1000R Factory with an exception of wheels that Factory has OZ Forged wheels and this bike has regular ones.”
