One of the most visually striking machines to ever come out of Aprilia, the RSV1000R Bol D’Or which was built to commemorate their participation in…the Bol D’Or, a 24 hour endurance race that occurs every spring at Le Mans. Just 200 examples were built in the distinctive purple/red livery.
Changes from the RSV1000R were solely cosmetic, meaning the Bol D’Or came well equipped with Ohlins front forks, a slipper clutch, and Brembo calipers.
You also got the wonderful V60 magnesium v-twin motor, which puts out 143 horsepower at 10,000 rpm.

The odometer shows 36,253 miles.
In preparation for the listing, the seller had us detail the bike and install new Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tires with date codes of 4321 and 0722.
Angel did the work, he notes that the brake pads are 80%/50% front/rear.
Previous Maintenance:
The sale includes a receipt from a May 2020 service by Amauri Nunes of Aprilia Moto Service – it included a 36k mile service, valve check/adjust, throttle body clean, spark plug change, valve cover gasket change, oil/filter change, air filter replacement, airbox clean, new seals/oil in the forks, clutch/brake fluid bleed, sprocket bolts re-torque, service indicator message reset, and a check of all lights/controls for proper function.
Modifications:
AF1 Racing Aprilia 1060cc +3mm Big-Bore Piston Kit installed by AF1. Work included “strip, plate, and diamond hone cylinders, degreed cams, .018″ head gasket.” Here’s a photo from when the work was being performed. This was paired with a 04-07 RSV-R Power Commander USB with custom map which was dyno tuned by Ed Cook at AF1. Per Ed, “Tuning is finished…..127hp on our Factory Pro dyno which is a solid 147hp on a Dynojet Dyno. With VP U4 gas, you’d be well over 155hp.”
