One of the most visually striking machines to ever come out of Aprilia, the RSV1000R Bol D’Or which was built to commemorate their participation in… the Bol D’Or, a 24 hour endurance race that occurs every spring at Le Mans. Just 200 examples were built in the distinctive purple/red livery.
Changes from the RSV1000R were solely cosmetic, meaning the Bol D’Or came well-equipped with Öhlins front forks, a slipper clutch, and Brembo brake calipers.
You also got the wonderful V60 magnesium v-twin motor, which puts out 143 horsepower at 10,000rpm.
Manufactured in April of 2007, this example is VIN: ZD4RRTR017S000710. The seller acquired it six months ago from a private party in San Francisco, California.
During his ownership, the seller has ridden the bike for approximately 600 miles. The odometer shows 19,902 miles.
Maintenance:
During his ownership, the seller has changed the engine oil/filter, and flushed the brake/clutch fluid. He does not have documentation for this service.
The black trim pieces on the front fairing have been removed. Per the seller, “I looked closely at paint on inside and outside of fairing and I can see no indication that they were ever mounted. They are available on line for ~$100 in carbon fiber. I would be happy to order and send to new owner.”
There are also no peg feelers, the seller acquired it this way. “The previous owner said he did a track day with the bike so that may be why no feelers? He said the bike had never been down and I see no indication that it has ever been.”
Cosmetic Blemishes:
The seller notes: “small scratch on top of tank, scuff mark on seat base, small tear on lower fairing decal”
Inside of the tank:
The sale includes one key.
