Description
Additional photos of this 2007 Bimota DB6 Delirio Azzurro are available here for your perusal.
The DB6 Delirio was a naked standard with styling unlike any other Bimota. It was powered by Ducati’s dual-spark air-cooled V-Twin, and it was the “cheapest” Bimota in the lineup, though it’s hard to call any bike cheap when the MSRP was over $30,000. To celebrate Italy’s win in the 2006 World Cup, Bimota created a limited edition called the Azzuro. 23 examples were created – 12 of which were supposedly given to players of the championship team. The remainder were offered to the public.
For that money, powered by Ducati’s dual-spark air-cooled V-Twin, good for 90 horsepower and 70 pound-feet of torque, as well as styling unlike any other Bimota. For more information, check out this review from Visor Down, who sum it up by saying, “think BMX push bike with a motorcycle engine and you won’t be too far off the mark.”
Manufactured in January 2007, this example is VIN: ZESD699217R000006.
The odometer shows 284 kilometers (176 miles).
