Debuting in 2002 as a 750, the MV Agusta Brutale took the best parts of the F4 and adopted them into a naked superbike platform. Although it had a beautiful design and nimble handling, some people felt the 750 came up a bit short in horsepower and torque.

Upon its release, the 910 became the first “big bore” Brutale with a displacement upgrade to 908cc. This bigger powerplant used radial valve technology, developed in connection with Ferrari, and produced 136 hp and 71 ft/lbs of torque. While that was “only” 9 hp up in terms of peak power, there was much more power in usable areas. At 7,900 rpm (where the bike made peak torque), the 910 offered a stunning 29 extra horsepower compared to the 750. Although the chassis was the same, the engine was lighter than its predecessor, resulting in snappy acceleration and more dynamic handling.

MV offered the 910 in two flavors: S and R. The latter got substantial upgrades including a unique livery, full grain leather seats, red valve covers, black anodized fork uprights, titanium surface treatments to several pieces of the front end, different styling in the tach, upgraded Brembo brakes, Marzocchi 50mm forks, Brembo forged aluminum wheels, a race exhaust with specific EPROM chip, and hand-polished inlet ducts. With the optional exhaust equipped, claimed output increased to 144 hp.

This example is VIN: ZCGAJFJN37V101002.

The odometer shows 4,590 miles.
