Description
Additional photos of this F4 1000 Senna are available here for your perusal.
In 2007, MV Agusta produced 300 examples of a limited edition F4 1000R. As you can probably guess from the name, they were built to honor racing legend Ayrton Senna. Thus, a portion of the original sales were donated to the Ayrton Senna Foundation. 65 of the 300 were imported to the US.
In addition to feeling slightly charitable, owners of this special edition got the unique paint scheme, alcantara seat, Brembo Goldline radial brakes, titanium-nitride coated Marzocchi upside-down forks, Sachs rear suspension, and MV’s 174 horsepower powerplant.
Other differentiators include unique Marchesini wheels, several pieces of carbon fiber bodywork, and an increased redline of 13,900 rpm.
This MV (VIN: ZCGAKFGM77V100432) is #109/300 and it is part of our personal collection and it’s currently located in the upstairs vault at Iconic’s headquarters in Marina del Rey, California – feel free to come by and take a look!
A gentleman in Florida left this bike to his son as part of his inheritance and the latter put it up for sale, which is how the current owner acquired it.
The odometer shows 1,742 miles.
We note two cosmetic flaws – a scratch on the right mirror housing and a chip on the right side of the tank. Photos of both are included in the album up top.
The sale includes the red rear wheel stand.
MV Agusta and Ayrton Senna are two legendary names in motorsports, and we’re excited to offer up an incredible melding of the two that you won’t be afraid to put miles on.
