In 2007, MV Agusta produced 300 examples of a limited edition F4 1000R. As you can probably guess from the name, they were built to honor racing legend Ayrton Senna. Thus, a portion of the original sales were donated to the Ayrton Senna Foundation. 65 of the 300 were imported to the US.
In addition to feeling slightly charitable, owners of this special edition got the unique paint scheme, alcantara seat, Brembo Goldline radial brakes, titanium-nitride coated Marzocchi upside-down forks, Sachs rear suspension, and MV’s 174 horsepower powerplant.
Other differentiators include unique Marchesini wheels, several pieces of carbon fiber bodywork, and an increased redline of 13,900 rpm.
The owner added the tank grip pieces 6 months ago – as we knew the bike beforehand, we can confirm that there were no marks underneath before installation.
This F4 1000 Senna (VIN: ZCGAKFGM07V100384) shows 9,123 miles on the odometer, and it’s an excellent rider. It is #114/300.
This MV Agusta is equipped with a Moto Corse billet aluminum gas cap, new aftermarket seat covers, a lithium battery, new OEM upgraded radiator, and recent tires.
The seller originally acquired this machine from Iconic Motorbikes approximately two years ago and stored it with us as he’s a regular client of our White Glove services. We give it a mini detail every 6-8 weeks and it had a major service in January at 7,500 miles – we handled the fluids (oil/coolant), spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, new grips, and new bulbs (low beam, high beam, running lights) but we sent it out to a MV expert for the bigger tasks as we lack the tools for valve adjustments on this machine. He’s one of the best for MV’s on the West Coast.
There is evidence of a tip over on the left side, as there are scratches on the left fairings, left footpeg, gear shift lever, left mirror, and left side of the tank. Photos of all damage we could find are included in the usual album up top. Please let us know if you require photos of any other components in detail.
The only significant issue is that it’s missing the triple tree badge – unfortunately, this is a somewhat common issue for these bikes as the badges weren’t shipped on the bikes from the factory, they were taped to the MSO. We’ve heard of multiple people that have had jewelers recreate them as needed.
MV Agusta and Ayrton Senna are two legendary names in motorsports, and we’re excited to offer up an incredible melding of the two that you won’t be afraid to put miles on.
