Throughout its impressive production run, the F4 was occasionally offered with limited edition upgrade kits that typically consisted of unique bodywork and a few other changes. Notable examples included the Viper (50 made), the Mamba (300 made in the full kit, 300 more in a basic kit), and the Corse (300 made for a biposto, 300 made for a solo seat). The Corse was specifically designed for the 2007 F4 1000 R.
The kits included specific plastic bodywork with a red/silver/white livery, red/white seats, silver plaque on the top triple, certificate of authenticity, and an optional alarm. MV also offered a variety of options, including an upgraded exhaust.
