Click here for an VINData Motorcycle History Report on this 2008 Aprilia RSV1000R Factory.

Produced from 1999 through 2003, the RSV Mille marked Aprilia’s first foray into the big-bore superbike market. The model was well-received, touted for being exotic yet still more affordable than Ducati’s 996, while offering reliability more on par with V-Twins like Honda’s RC51 or Suzuki’s TL1000R.

In 2004, Aprilia updated their excellent sportbike to the second generation with a bevy of upgrades, most notably the 60-degree V90RR magnesium motor. It also got dual exhausts, tweaks to the chassis, new styling and Mille was dropped in exchanged for 1000 R.

The base model was called the RSV1000R, but the one you wanted was the Factory. Why? In addition to the special livery, the Factory gained Ohlins suspension and OZ wheels.

Manufactured August 2008, this example is VIN: ZD4RRTR0X8S000982. The seller purchased the bike seven months ago from a private party through an Iconic auction.

During his ownership, the seller has covered approximately 965 miles. The odometer shows 1,662 miles. The seller says he did two track days with the bike.
