You wouldn’t be alone if you though the MV Agusta F4 was the world’s most beautiful motorcycle — but styling is subjective. What can’t be argued, however, is speed, and the F4 R 312 was, when released, the world’s fastest motorcycle. That’s where the “312” in the name comes from — it’s the MV’s top speed in kilometers. In miles, it’s 193.87. Regardless of the unit, it’s an impressive number!
It was exclusive, too – in their First Ride review, Cycle World said “just 150 of these homologation specials will be shipped to our shores to quality the bike for AMA competition.”
The extra grunt needed to set a speed record came from a combination of 30mm titanium intake valves, 48mm throttle bodies, and modified camshafts — all of which added nine horsepower (bringing the total up to 183 hp and 85 lb-ft of torque).
There were three options for colors: Corsa red with silver, white with black, and black with grey like the bike being offered here.
This example is VIN: ZCGAKFGM18V100671. The seller acquired the bike three years ago from a close friend and collector. He is the second owner.
During his ownership, the seller has covered approximately 200 miles. The odometer shows 5,627 miles.
Maintenance:
The seller reports that he installed new tires in December of 2023. Additionally, on March 26th, 2024, he changed the oil and oil filter, flushed the front and rear brakes, and flushed the clutch fluid. He notes that the brake pads are at 80% (front) and 90% (rear) and that the coolant level is good; however, the front left turn signal does not currently flash.
