Description
Click here for an VINData Motorcycle History Report on this 2011 Triumph Daytona 675.
Introduced in 2006 as the successor to the four-cylinder Daytona 650, the three-cylinder Daytona 675 has been a favorite of riders and the press ever since it debuted. MCN summed it up with: “Silky, compact handling, allied to kick-ass engine power and a howling exhaust note, make the Triumph Daytona 675 a real winner on the road, or track.”
The triple was “a masterpiece of compact simplicity” that produced a claimed 123 horsepower. In 2009, the bike received a few upgrades such as, new turn signals, a redesigned front fairing, higher redline (+3 horsepower), taller first gear, and upgraded suspension. But on the track, the bike excelled in it’s first season – the race bike (with Augusta Triumph) scored their first pole, podium, and victory, and they went on to win the AMA Pro Moto GT1 championship. A 675 ended up placing fifth in the manufacturer’s championship in World Supersport as well.
This example is VIN: SMTD00NS7BJ450562. The seller purchased the bike a year and a half ago and states, “I fell in love with this bike the second I laid eyes on it almost three years ago. My friend refused to sell it to me until finally he needed some extra money for his project car. Since it’s been under my ownership, I’ve put in a few thousand dollars revamping the bike + general maintenance. She rides perfectly.
As much as I love this bike, it’s time to focus on larger life things that must take priority. Some important things to consider: This bike is NOT a show bike, and has to go to an owner who loves it for what it is: an incredibly unique build (only one of these in the world).”
The odometer shows 4,076 miles and the seller notes, “Oil pressure and Check-engine light present when the bike is not fully turned on.”
Maintenance:
Per the seller, “Under my ownership, it has been stored in a climate-controlled garage. New tires, new fuel pump, rust removal and gas tank sealer kit, new spark plugs, new rear light, some general wiring. I have documentation for all of those things. No mechanical issues, engine is dialed and the bike runs/rides perfectly. With the money I have put in, it has some relatively minor improvements to be made: Wiring for a front right turn signal is detached (could use some LED upgrades…). Sometimes brake light and turn signals stop working due to blown fuse (I have replacement fuses which I swap out and then the lights work fine). The check engine light occasionally turns on and off randomly every few rides. I’ve had Triumph Brooklyn do a full run through of the bike in fall of 2024 and it is mechanically sound (with documentation as well)”
Modifications:
The seller notes, “Mechanically stock bike, but with quite a few modifications. This motorcycle, dubbed “Doomsdaytona,” was completely redone by custom motorcycle builder, John Ryland of Classified Moto. The history of the bike build can be found in this article on Bike EXIF:

The plastic housing broke and can be glued back together, but otherwise perfectly functional and can be used as spare), a full box of extra fuses that includes all amperages for the bike and three spark plugs that came out of the motor from previous engine service.”
Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the album up top for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here is a selection:
“Some surface rust on mirror brackets. It is an unpainted bike. Classified Moto’s signature style is raw, nickel-plated body panels – part of “the post-apocalyptic” look they are known for. It comes with scratches and blemishes on the raw metal.”
