Please note: This motorcycle appears to have a SE frame, with all relevant 675R features and components. The history of the motorcycle and it’s model is unclear.
Though the almighty inline-four had become the standard in supersport models, Triumph shook things up in 2006 with the release of the three-cylinder Daytona 675. What the British three-banger lacked in top speed, it more than made up for with its immense low and mid-range oomph – but the real joy came from the addition of a track-oriented R-spec in 2011.
For 2011, the R model featured upgraded suspension, with fully adjustable front and rear Öhlins suspension units, as well as Brembo brakes with larger discs. It also had lighter wheels and a quick-shifter as standard. The engine was the same three-cylinder 675cc engine as the base model but had revised ECU mapping for increased power and torque, and a race-inspired exhaust system.
This example is VIN: SMTD00NS2BJ449609. The seller purchased this motorcycle from a private party in Michigan one year ago.
