The Gixxer has been a fixture in the sportbike world for decades, and Pops Yoshimura is famous for his involvement with Suzuki’s factory racing team. The two names have been closely intertwined for years, and starting in 2011 they collaborated on a series of Limited Edition bikes in the 600, 750, and 1000 models).
The Yoshimura Limited Editions were available via special order through Suzuki dealership and were CARB + EPA legal. Thanks to Asphalt & Rubber, we can share that these bikes featured the following upgrades for a $3,600 bump in MSRP:
Custom graphics (blue framed bikes had a blue livery, black framed bikes had a red/white livery).
Yoshimura exhaust.
Fender Eliminator Kit (Not D.O.T approved).
Engine plug kit, oil filler plug kit, case savers.
Chassis Protectors.
Axle Adjuster Blocks.
Race Stand Stoppers.
