Introduced in 2011, the “Evo” variant of Ducati’s 848 was something that Cycle World called a “midlife upgrade“, with “performance gains…intended to benefit racers and street riders alike.”

The engine got new throttle bodies with larger bores, revised cylinder heads, and a new profile of the piston crown, which significantly bumped the compression ratio from 12.0:1 to 13.2:1. This helped increase horsepower to 140 at the crank.

This example is VIN: ZDM1XBMV3DB022963. The seller acquired it three weeks ago from a local private party.

During his ownership, the seller has covered three miles. The odometer shows 82 miles.

“I purchased it from the original owner’s friend. When the owner moved overseas, he left the bike with his friend to store until he returned. After his return was delayed several times, he decided to sell the bike and had his friend title it in order to complete the sale.”
