In 2012, Ducati evolved their flagship superbike to create the Panigale 1199 – MCN called it a “mold-breaking motorcycle”, noting that it debuted the next-generation Superquadro engine and even utilized it as a stressed member of the frame.

The 90 degree V-Twin motor produced a claimed 195 horsepower with a much higher redline and larger service intervals thanks to the chain-operated desmo valves. Several features were made of magnesium alloy, it had a wet slipper clutch, and for the first time, a ride-by-wire throttle. The throttle enabled an advanced electronic system – MCN continued, “it’s a very clever motorcycle and very, very good.”

This example is VIN: ZDM14BPW3DB011622. The seller acquired it in February 2017 from Rosso Corsa in Southern California on eBay.

During his ownership, the seller has covered nearly 2,100 miles. The odometer shows 2,328 miles.

Maintenance:
It had only 160 miles when I purchased it in February of 2017, and they said that although it was hardly ridden for 5 years, it got an oil change every year. Oil changes, part upgrades, and other services all done by Motocorsa, the Portland Ducati dealership. They have history of complete records.” The seller states that there are no known mechanical issues.

Modifications:
Custom Martini Racing paint job. “This beautiful bike’s custom Martini paint livery was commissioned by Martini Racing as part of a promotion with a Porsche with a similar livery scheme. I (the owner and seller) bought it from a Porsche dealership after it was used as a show bike for years, making the rounds with models sitting on it at racing/bike shows. They said the original bike cost with paint job cost around $50k. This wasn’t a cheap decal job, but real quality paint-work.”

BST carbon fiber wheels.

Tail tidy with integrated rear LED lights.

Sato Racing rear sets, battery tender.

Carbon fiber exhaust cover, shock cover, and rear fender.

Carbon fiber clutch cover.

Integrated front LED turn signals.

CRG Arrow bar-end mirrors.

Not pictured is a “throttle spacer (fixes stock throttle lag)” and a lightweight lithium battery.

Cosmetic Blemishes:
The seller states that this is “near mint/new. Couple little scuffs or hairline scratches here and there that just come from being ridden. No dents or deep scratches.

It is riding on the original Ducati Piablo Supercorsa SP tires.

The sale includes one key.

Currently located in Beaverton, Oregon, this Ducati is offered on a clean Oregon title.

The seller sums up his bike by saying, “the bike looks nearly new in every way. Extremely good condition, well-maintained, runs perfectly, and no issues.” Have any Panigale 1199 stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the “Comments” tab!
