The idea of touring on a supermoto bike might seem like an oxymoron, but KTM somehow made it work with their SMT model – a motorcycle that Visordown called “the most sensible KTM in ages.” If you wanted to be simplistic, you could argue that KTM created the SMT just by taking their big supermoto bike and throwing on luggage and a larger windshield. Maybe you’d be right. But the riding position combined with 115 horsepower, 71 pound-feet of torque, and a 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds means you’ve got yourself a fun urban assault vehicle that you won’t see other people on.

Manufactured in April 2013, this example is VIN: VBKVS9401DM996890. The seller acquired it 11 months ago from a private party in Long Beach, California.

The odometer shows 59,704 miles.

The prior owner used it as a commuter, and the current owner used it in the same role. He notes that he “can no longer ride it comfortably anymore.”
Maintenance:
The seller notes a “routine service in April 2024 by KNV Motors after purchasing the motorcycle” which cost $5,064.49.
The service included a new clutch and clutch basket, chain tensioner, water pump shaft/seal, coolant flush, and more.
