The Moto Guzzi Griso SE is a special edition of the venerable Griso, and it differed from the base bike with a fancy paint job, some blacked-out parts, and spoked wheels.
Mechanically, you also got adjustable suspension, and giant Brembo brakes – this bike was an interesting balance between the style of a custom with the components of a sportbike.
The 8V engine produces 110 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and a healthy 79 ft-lbs of torque at 6,400 rpm.
The “Black Devil” livery came with a powdercoated black frame, as well as the handlebar and inverted forks.
These are rare sights on the road, but it’s a solid all-arounder that drips exclusivity. As the wonderful Kevin Ash (RIP) once said in an article for BikeEXIF: “…the bike whose looks do the most for me is the Guzzi Griso, sweeping and elegant on the left, overtly mechanical and rugged on the right.”
This example is VIN: ZGULSU025DM200111. The seller is the original owner, he purchased it new from a Moto Guzzi dealership in Orange County, in 2014.
