With an update for its 50th anniversary 2009, Triumph gave the Bonneville a lovely blend of modern and retro – it introduced Keihin fuel injection but kept the look of carbs feeding the 865cc parallel twin engine. Triumph claimed 67 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 51 lb-ft at 5,800 rpm. With classic style and an approachable drivetrain, the fuel-injected Bonnie became a popular platform for customization.
The seller of this example (VIN: SMT900K13DT568519) is the original owner. He purchased it new in 2016 from FRS Powersports in Memphis, Tennessee.
The odometer was replaced with a Motogadget unit. The seller estimates that the bike has less than 1,500 miles.
Modifications:
Air box removal kit from British Customs.
The seller states that there are no mechanical or cosmetic issues and that he’s selling it as he has too many projects. Currently located in Brentwood, Tennessee, this Triumph is offered on a clean Tennessee title. Have any Bonneville stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the comments!
