Honda’s CB750 is one of the most important motorcycles ever built, and in 2010 they made a lot of nostalgic riders happy in their home market when they released an evolution called the CB1100. The namesake 1,140cc engine produced 86 horsepower and 68 ft-lb of torque at the crank, and the resulting package of classic style with modern convenience made it an instant hint with motorcycle media – Cycle World named it the Best Standard in their Ten Best Awards of 2013, the first year the model was offered in the US. “The new CB’s a bike you just hop on like you used to do, especially when you’ve got no particular place to go. Nostalgic it might be and a feast for some eyes, but it’s also a super-functional, easy-to-ride and cheap-to-keep motorcycle.” The next year, Honda significantly improved the CB by gifting it a six-speed transmission, LCD instrument display, gear position indicator, and an updated trip computer.

Manufactured in February 2014, this example is VIN: JH2SC6515EK101414.

The seller is the original owner. He bought it new in 2015 from Pacific Coast Highway Powersports in Marina del Rey, California. The odometer shows 9,966 miles.

Modifications:
The seller calls this “one of the finest examples on the road,” highlighting the following upgrades:

The front forks were upgraded with Race Tech progressive fork springs and a fork brace.

Shocks from an Australian model Honda CB1300. Gold powdercoated wheels with all factory lettering removed from the spokes (the sale includes the stock wheels). Arrow full stainless exhaust (the sale includes the stock exhaust).

Power Commander 5, plus the stock computer was reflashed to remove the speed limiter and give full timing advance in all gears. “The bike was dyno tuned at Hypercycle in Van Nuys, California by Carry Andrews who brought the bike from 88 hp to 95.8 hp. ”

Pearl Spencer Blue bodywork, a color that was not offered in the United States. It is all Honda OEM and the seller purchased it from Japan.

The bike has 2 seats, a Corbin and a Sargent.

The Corbin seat.

The Sargent seat.

Cosmetic Blemishes:
The seller notes some “very minor discoloring on leading edges from Southern California coast air on cadmium plated and black oxide coated items.”

The seller had the dealership perform the first service, and has done all other maintenance himself. He states that there are no known mechanical issues: “Everything works and it runs perfectly.” The sale includes the original paperwork and owner’s manual.

The tire date codes are 1616 and 2316.

Currently located in Santa Monica, California, this Honda is offered on a clean California title with registration current through February 2022.
