Honda’s CB750 remains one of the most important motorcycles ever built, and in 2010 they made a lot of nostalgic riders happy in their home market when they released an retro-inspired evolution model called the CB1100.

The namesake 1,140cc engine produced 86 horsepower and 68 ft-lb of torque at the crank, and the resulting package of classic style with modern convenience made it an instant hint with motorcycle media — Cycle World named it the Best Standard in their Ten Best Awards of 2013, the first year the model was offered in the US. “The new CB’s a bike you just hop on like you used to do, especially when you’ve got no particular place to go. Nostalgic it might be and a feast for some eyes, but it’s also a super-functional, easy-to-ride and cheap-to-keep motorcycle.”

The next year, Honda significantly improved the CB by gifting it a six-speed transmission, LCD instrument display, gear position indicator, and an updated trip computer.

Manufactured in March 2014, this example is VIN: JH2SC6513K102352. The seller is the second owner, he purchased it from the original owner in Illinois three years ago.

During his ownership, the seller has covered about 1,000 miles. The odometer shows 2,650 miles.

Maintenance:
“In preparation for the sale, I have changed the oil and bled the front and rear brake systems.” The seller states that there are no known mechanical issues.
Modifications:
“The bike has several rare Japanese modifications including the color matched rear tail section, color matched front cowl and front fender.”

Pipemasters 4 into 4 exhaust system.

It is riding on Dunlop Sportmax D205 tires with date codes of 0814 and 0814.

The sale includes 2 ignition keys, the owner’s manual, and tool kit. In addition, “all original parts are included with the bike, factory front and rear chrome fender, factory seat, factory exhaust, and rear luggage rack.”
