This custom is based on a very unexpected platform – a Honda Valkyrie. As you’d expect, several publications picked up on it when it was released – Uncrate summarized this bike by saying, “Starting with a heavyweight 2014 Honda Valkyrie, Scott (of Hgarage) stripped the bike down to its bare bones. The original fuel cell was kept, with a new tank cover modeled in clay and paper before being finalized in steel. The seat and tail section were replaced with custom parts and vertical LED headlights that sit between the forks give the build an aggressive face. The prominent radiator surrounds were made with an eye to the overall design while incorporating new stainless steel tubing. With this build, Scott has taken the Valkyrie from being a modern cruiser to an impressive, futuristic naked streetfighter.”
This example is VIN: JH2SC68J7EK000063, Engine #: SC47E-5272659. The seller is the original owner, he purchased it brand new in 2016 as a leftover model from C&C Powersports in Clarksville, Indiana.
The odometer shows 22,332 miles.
“After approximately 10k miles riding in stock form, Hgarage of Louisville, Kentucky was commissioned to build a unique, bulletproof street bike. Although a Honda Goldwing Valkyrie wouldn’t normally be a bike chosen for a custom build the smooth 6 engine, low maintenance shaft drive, and linear power made it an ideal candidate. The bones of the bike remained OEM, with the exception of the modified subframe. Bike weight was reduced 7%, currently weighs 700lbs wet.”
Modifications:
Keyless ON/OFF with push button start (sale includes 2 keyless transmitters/fobs), custom gas tank.
Single LED low beam / double LED high beam, custom front fender, custom radiator cowls, daytime running auxiliary lights with integrated turn signals.
Custom rear cowl with LED lighting running/brake/signals.
Borla double side exit exhausts.
Dynojet power commander w/ Autotune, Speedcell Legacy Baja battery (2.5 lbs).
Not pictured is a K&N air filter.
The seller notes that in the last 500 miles, the bike has had the engine oil and the rear drive oil changed.
Cosmetic Blemishes:
The seller notes that the “right side panel has a paint chip near allen bolt head, there are minor blemishes on top of left valve cover, and rock chips on rear cowl under tail.”
It is riding on Pirelli Angel GT II tires from 2019.
The seller states that there are no known mechanical issues, however the “check engine light comes on periodically due to the fuel tuner.”
Currently located in Bardstown, Kentucky is offered on a clean Kentucky title.
