In 2004, Honda introduced the seventh generation of their legendary top of the line RR sportbike. The CBR1000RR debuted as an almost-completely-new design from the 954, featuring a new frame, new engine, longer swingarm, and an industry first electronic steering damper. Honda continued to evolve the bike almost ever year, with the twelfth generation coming to market in 2012 for the RR’s 20th anniversary.
That same year, Honda’s MotoGP team would receive an incredible boost with the signing of Marc Marquez. His dominance started immediately, winning the championship in his first two seasons of 2013 and 2014 (and earning Honda the manufacturer’s championship the second year). To commemorate this success, Honda offered both the base 1000RR and the 1000RR SP with optional Repsol liveries inspired by Marquez’s championship-winning bike.
Built in October 2014, this example is the first of these Repsol RRs as it is VIN: JH2SC5919FK700001.
Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California (please make an appointment for an inspection), this Honda is offered on a clean California title with registration that expired in February of 2021.
