Description

7/11/25 Update: Iconic got additional information from a Kramer expert that we need to share. As noted previously, this is one of the first Kramer 690s that came to the US. There are several differences between this and the current gen that we wanted to make sure bidders were aware of:
1. Dual 320mm front rotors.
2. Early forks with forged triple clamp
3. Single balance shaft engine with a smaller throttle body. This motor vibrates much more than the newer engine.
4. Early rear set brackets. The mounts on the frame are different, so current brackets cannot be used and replacements are NLA, they would have to be fabricated.
5. Swingarm and linkage. Due to the damage, it is strongly recommend replacing the swingarm with a new generation swingarm, as the existing arm is likely to crack. This is roughly a $3k expenditure.
6. In addition, our contact was able to confirm that the mileage is not accurate as the current dash was installed in 2020/2021. Our best guess is that the mileage is roughly 8k.

In the world of boutique race bikes, Kramer is enjoying a tremendous amount of success – and the love of some industry pros including Troy Siahaan at Motorcycle.com and Jensen Beeler at Asphalt & Rubber. The one sentence difference between Kramer’s offerings is that the S is for trackdays and the R is for racing.

The R uses a KTM 690 motor which is good for roughly 80 horsepower. Other improvements include a superior braking package and forged wheels. The trellis frame is made from a CrMo steel for increased stiffness, with an adjustable rake that can be tailored to a rider’s desired fit. Instead of storing the gas in the tank, Krämer opted to put the fuel cell in the tail. The XPE plastic subframe holds a little over four gallons.

For its suspension, the 690 R rides on 43mm WP forks with adjustable preload, compression, and rebound damping up front and a WP shock absorber with KMC Link System at the rear. Brembo handles the braking up front mated to twin 290mm discs.

Tying everything together is a set of lightweight fiberglass bodywork that comes reinforced with carbon and Kevlar. Thanks to the relocation of the tank (a space now occupied by the airbox) and the forged aluminum Dymag wheels, total weight for the bike comes in at a svelte 276 pounds!

This example is VIN: HKREVO2007. The seller purchased the bike from RevZilla West three months ago and states, “I bought it to do the two 2025 West Coast AHRMA rounds, but got injured at a ski camp in March, so unable to ride/race out here this year.”

True mileage is unknown. The odometer shows 4,656 kilometers (2,893 miles) however we have confirmation that the dash was replaced in 2020/2021.
