The Moto Guzzi Griso SE was a special edition of the venerable Griso, and it differed from the base bike with a fancy paint job, some blacked-out parts, and spoked wheels.
Mechanically, you also got adjustable suspension, and giant Brembo brakes – this bike was an interesting balance between the style of a custom with the components of a sportbike.
The 8V engine produces 110 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and a healthy 79 ft-lbs of torque at 6,400 rpm.
The “Black Devil” livery came with a powdercoated black frame, as well as the handlebar and inverted forks.
These are rare sights on the road, and they’re solid all-arounders that are dripping with exclusivity. As the wonderful Kevin Ash (RIP) once said in an article for BikeEXIF: “…the bike whose looks do the most for me is the Guzzi Griso, sweeping and elegant on the left, overtly mechanical and rugged on the right.”

The seller is none other than the world-renowned actor and motorcycle enthusiast Ewan McGregor! After joining Iconic at our last Laguna Seca track day, he recently stopped by for a visit and brought with him five Moto Guzzis for sale.
The odometer shows 5,980 miles.
Ewan told us that he used to have a Griso back when he lived in London, and he sold it when he moved to America in 2008. Those of you that watched the Long Way Down may remember a couple of scenes showing Ewan riding his Griso into his and Charley’s office. Ewan with his previous Griso in 2005.
He missed the Griso when he was in the US so he sought out a low mileage example, he believes he’s the second owner.

Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California (please make an appointment for an inspection), this Moto Guzzi is offered on a clean California title in Ewan’s name with registration current through January 2024.
