Based on the Yamaha MT-09, the XSR900 offered all of the same lunacy from the 115 horsepower inline triple but with a very distinctive “neo-retro” style.
Most testers preferred the XSR’s updated suspension compared to the MT – MCN said “The handling is as good as it gets for a bike straight out of the box. The XSR is stable, with impressive feedback and mechanical grip. It’s hard to find any fault with it at all.” The power and handling were complemented by standard ABS, traction control, and ride modes.
The seller of this example (VIN: JYARN47Y9GA000073) is the original owner – he bought it new from Mountain Motorsports in Ontario, California in June 2016.
The odometer shows 21,613 miles.
The seller states that the only cosmetic issues are some small scratches on the tank logo and small boot scrape marks on the seat from getting on and off.
The tires are from 2017 and 2019.
