Built to celebrate “ninety years of passion and performance,” the 1299 Panigale S Anniversario was released as a limited edition capped at 500 units.

It was more than just a cosmetic upgrade: it was the first Ducati to get their EVO updates to Traction Control and Wheelie Control (utilizing data from the IMU), as well as the first Ducati to get Slide Control.

Over five pounds of weight was shaved thanks to a lithium-ion battery and several pieces of carbon fiber: heel guards, rear fender, and shock absorber cover.

The Anniversario also came with a race kit that featured billet aluminum mirror block off plugs, license plate holder plug, and a gold Akrapovic exhaust which bumped up horsepower to 202 when equipped.

The gold Akra was also paired with gold forged aluminum Marchesini wheels, laser-etched engraving, Italian-flag inspired livery, and some 90th Anniversary decals.

Manufactured in September of 2016, this example is VIN: ZDM14BYW2HB007209. The owner acquired it in March 2024 from ACES Motorcycles in Fort Collins, Colorado, where it had been traded in by the original owner.

It is production number 336 out of 500.

During his ownership, the seller has covered roughly 2,600 miles. The odometer shows 3,905 miles.

“I’m selling it because at 50, longer rides have become uncomfortable for me even though I’m in good shape. The bike has never been tracked or raced — just normal street riding with some spirited canyon runs. It deserves to go to a collector or another mature rider who will respect its heritage, rarity, and power. It does this bike no good to be sitting in a garage when someone else could truly enjoy it. It’s been adult‑owned, garage‑kept, and always warmed up properly before riding. I’ve taken great care of it, and it has never been abused or neglected. It’s a clean, collector‑grade example that’s ready for someone who will appreciate it as much as I have. I’m open and transparent about this bike, and I want it to go to a good home. If any potential buyer has more questions or wants additional photos, I’m happy to provide them.”

Maintenance:
“I have full documentation for all maintenance performed since the bike was traded in. At 1,229 miles in February 2024, ACES Motorcycles performed the complete first service, including oil and filter, system checks, and a full brake and clutch hydraulic flush. The service record states: ‘PERFORMED FULL FIRST SERVICE PER MANUFACTURER RECOMMENDATIONS… SHORT TEST RIDE WITH NO ISSUES’ and ‘PERFORMED FULL HYDRAULIC FLUID SERVICE, FLUSHED AND BLED FRONT AND REAR BRAKE SYSTEM AND CLUTCH SYSTEM.’ I also have documentation for brand‑new Dunlop Roadsport IV tires installed in March 2024, shown on the second invoice. Since then, I’ve only done basic owner checks (fluids, pressures, chain) and the bike has needed nothing. All maintenance I’ve done is fully documented in the attached receipts.
After purchasing the bike, I also took it to Boulder Motor Sports for an additional inspection to make sure everything was in top shape. They went through the bike and confirmed there were no issues. Between the documented first service at ACES and the clean bill of health from Boulder Motor Sports, the bike has been fully checked out and has needed nothing beyond routine owner checks.”
Mechanical Issues:
None. I got pretty lucky with this bike. The only thing I ever experienced was some intermittent low‑RPM stalling, which is pretty common on these. Boulder Motor Sports diagnosed it and simply plugged the purge line to the EVAP system, and that completely solved the issue. Since then, the bike has run perfectly with zero mechanical problems.
Modifications:
“The bike has several tasteful, reversible upgrades focused on protection and comfort. These include ASV short levers (with the OEM brake levers included).

R&G radiator guard, R&G frame sliders, R&G front and rear hub sliders.

Quad Lock/EVO‑style phone mount.

It also has the Ducati Comfort Seat installed. Lastly an NRC LED Fender Eliminator Kit. All upgrades were chosen to protect the bike and improve usability without altering its originality.”

It is riding on Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV tires with date codes of 2322 and 2423.

The sale includes 2 ignition keys, manuals, Ducati Performance rear wheel stand, and an Optimate battery tender.

Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the album in the “Photos” tab for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here is a selection:
“The plastics are mint with only normal light swirls from polishing. The wheels are mint as well. The only age‑related wear is some minor pitting on the kickstand and a bit on the handlebars, which is typical for a bike of this age. Overall, it presents as a clean, well‑kept, collector‑grade example. The heat shield that sits on top of the exhaust under the seat is also loose. The screw must have fallen out but the carbon fiber cover is not going anywhere .”

Currently located in Johnstown, Colorado, this Ducati is offered on a clean Colorado title. Please note that the seller has a lien as the bike is financed, this will be paid off as part of the sale.
