For 2017, KTM updated both the Duke 390 and its fully-faired sibling, the RC390. The RC was an instant hit when it was released, far surpassing the performance envelope that ~300cc bikes were offering. This also made it a popular platform for small displacement track builds. The 2017 model produced 44 horsepower and 25.8 ft-lbs of torque.
Including some minor cosmetic tweaks, the RC390 was given a new exhaust, adjustable levers, larger front disc rotor, a new bellypan, and ride-by-wire throttle.
Manufactured in August of 2017, this example is VIN: MD2JYJ408HC285533. The seller is the original owner, he acquired it from Thousand Oaks Powersports. The seller is also a long-time friend of Iconic that we’d have wrenching for us if his career in street rods wasn’t so lucrative – he takes good care of his vehicles.
The odometer shows 994 miles.
