The Moto Guzzi V7 was introduced in 2008, and it’s been the Italian firm’s best selling model since 2009 due to the excellent combination of personality and practicality with the classic styling and 5.5 gallon fuel tank as well as comfortable ergonomics and ease of use.

A major update came in 2013, with a revised throttle body, larger valves, a relocated airbox that brought in cooler air, lighter/stronger pistons, and a new combustion chamber with a higher compression ratio (10.2:1). New output numbers were 51 horsepower and 43lb-ft of torque — nothing overwhelming, but just about anyone who’s ridden a V7 will tell you that there is plenty of poke and the experience is more rewarding than the spec sheet, as is first revealed by the rocking motion of the side-to-side V-Twn when you fire it up.

In 2017, Guzzi refined the bike yet again with the release of the V7 III. Along with heron cylinder heads from the V9, the model also got a smoother gearbox with a lighter clutch, a revised chassis, and some improved rear shocks.

This example is VIN: ZGULDU004HM00023.

The odometer shows 26,577 miles.

Maintenance:
In preparation for the listing, the seller performed an inspection. He notes that “it looks like the bike made contact on both sides as noted by the marks/scratches on the levers and bar ends. It looks like the frame guard rails took the brunt of any other damage as the bike looks in good condition everywhere else. It runs great; fires right up.” The condition report is as follows:
