Yamaha’s FZ (now MT) lineup has been a revelation in the standard bike segment, providing big fun and easy handling at a very reasonable price. The MT-07 was built to compete with machines like Suzuki’s SV650, and it became quickly appreciated by hooligans everywhere who appreciated the torquey CP2 motor and its propensity to wheelie.
This example (VIN: JYARM06Y2HA003931) was accepted as a trade-in by our neighbors at Bartel’s Harley-Davidson, so the history is not known.
The odometer shows 3,108 miles.
The only modification appears to be a tail tidy.
Currently located in Santa Monica, California, this FZ-07 is offered on a clean California title with registration current through April 2021.
