Aprilia introduced the Tuono just after the turn of the millennium, and the naked Italian superbike has remained an important model in the Noale firm’s lineup ever since. Just like with its full-faired counterpart, the Tuono V4 was well received by the riding public – a good-looking bike with a well-designed chassis, top-shelf components, and an exotic roaring V4 exhaust note that was purely sublime. The 1100 debuted in 2016 with an output of 175 hp at 11,000 rpm and 88.5 ft-lbs of torque at 9,000 rpm.

Helping keep the rubber side down was a much-improved electronics package. Known as Aprilia Performance Ride Control (APRC), the advanced suite of electronics included eight-level traction control, three-level wheelie and launch control, three riding modes (Sport, Race, and Track), and a factory quickshifter. Each rider aid is adjustable on the fly via hand controls on the left bar.

Taking the already impressive Tuono 1100 one step further is the trick Factory-spec variant. The Tuono 1100 Factory gets the same advanced engine and highly capable chassis as the base model, as well as being bestowed with top-of-the-line Öhlins forks/monoshock/steering damper, Brembo M432 monobloc four-piston calipers with revised braking characteristics, improved pads, and Bosch 9.1 MP cornering ABS.

This example is VIN: ZD4KGUA07JS000632. The seller acquired it last year from a private party in South Carolina.

During his ownership, the seller has covered roughly 200 miles. The odometer shows 10,676 miles.

He’s selling it as “I’m going AHRMA racing this year and need to make space and funds for the race bikes.”

Modifications:
Spark titanium exhaust (full exhaust, not just a slip-on), Evotech Performance tail tidy, programmable tail light.

R&G axle sliders, WPS front race pads, Puig tall windscreen. The suspension has been set for a 200 pound rider.

Woodcraft rearsets set up for GP shifting.

R&G carbon fiber tank/tail guards, aftermarket tank grips, R&G frame sliders.

Not pictured is a DNA air filter, charcoal canister delete, and Race ECU. The seller states that all stock parts are included, as are the passenger pegs, passenger seat, and owner’s manual. An OpenFlash tablet will be made available to the buyer for $300.

Cosmetic Blemishes:
The seller notes “one scratch on the decal on the right mid fairing, and couple in the decals on the tail.”


The seller states that there are no known mechanical issues. “The plugs were replaced and valves were checked and in spec at 9k miles.

Currently located in Ankeny, Iowa, this Aprilia is offered on a clean Iowa title.
