The Husqvarna 701 Supermoto is a bike that seems to get updates every year. At its core, it’s a supermoto thumper which shares its engine and frame with a KTM sibling (originally the SMC R in 2016, and then the Duke 690 in 2017).
The 2017 engine swap gained twin balance shafts and a higher redline, bumping horsepower up to 74. There were no significant updates for the 2018 model.
